After my transplant I try to make the best of each day, but do admit
some days I struggle, against the lethergy, sickness, aches, and general
feeling poo that the drugs bring on...
BUT.... I have an inspirational Nan!
I adore her, and am stunned at her determination, good humour, feisty
spirit, wisdom, and skills!!
She is now 90+, and fought breast cancer at 82, collapsed lungs, and DVT
at 83, has arthritis, bad lung function, oestoperosis, etc etc.
To keep her mobile I bought her a car some years ago, which see adores!
However, someone dented it in a car park and broke her heart! So over the
last few days......
SHE FILLED THE DENT, HAND SANDED IT, RESPRAYED THE WING, POLISHED IT OUT, AND BUFFED THE CAR!!
WOW!....
Here's to "My Nanna"! May we all possess just a TENTH of her spirit to help us
through life?!!
